How To Organize Budget Collections

We want you to have the freedom to customize your budget the way that works best for you. We don't force you to pigeon-hole all of your expenses into a few pre-selected categories. When you first start with Ploutos Budget there are pre-populated collections and categories to get you started, but you can add, edit, delete, and reorder them to suit your needs.

Collections

Collections are simply a group of budget categories.

Add

1. Click on the add button in the lower right corner.

2. Click "Collection".

3. Enter the name you want to give the new collection.

4. Click "Save".

Edit

1. Click on the collection name.

2. Enter the new name you want the collection to have.

3. Click "Save".

Delete

1. A collection with categories can not be deleted.

   • Delete or move the categories to a different collection before proceeding.

2. Click on the collection name.

3. Click "Delete".

Reorder

1. Hover your mouse over the collection row you wish to move.

2. Click and hold down on the 6 dots at the front of the row.

3. While still holding down drag your mouse up or down to reorder the collection.
